SSAT Test Dates

The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is used as an important criterion for admission into secondary schools in the United States, Canada, and around the globe.  It tests reading, vocabulary, and quantitative skills.

Locations Around the World

The SSAT is an internationally renowned exam and can be taken at various locations throughout the world. To find a location near you, navigate to the SSAT Search Test Location Page, and press the search button.

SSAT Test Dates Available Every Month

The SSAT requires approximately 2.5 hours of the test-takers’ time, and usually begins at 9 a.m. the date of the test. With the breaks and an introduction to the test, this means that attendees are dismissed from the testing facility between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The SSAT posts two registration deadlines.  Before the first, regular registration deadline, test-takers may register online, by mail, or by fax.  However, during the late registration period, only online applications will be accepted.
